Fully  conceived by the Denmark Vesey Spirit of Freedom Monument Committee
and the entire Charleston Community , the public art monument
 includes organizers from  Corporate, Government, and Community Arts Leaders.   

The Denmark Vesey and the Spirit of Freedom Monument Committee
 is a tax-exempt arts service and  historical educational
 services organization , and all proceeds are used to
produce the Denmark Vesey Monument and to assist in related non-profit activities.
